Paint Nights for Sisterhoods, Shabbatons, and Community Groups

Group painting workshops for Brooklyn community organizations — sisterhood events, school programs, shabbaton activities. Paula scales the project to the room.

Whoever plans the sisterhood calendar knows the challenge: you need an evening that gets people out of the house, works for the woman who came alone and the table of best friends, and gives everyone something to show for it.

A paint night does all three. Rows of canvases, one guided painting, and a room that gets louder and happier as the hour goes on. Nobody has to be 'good at art' — the whole point is that Paula walks everyone through it stroke by stroke.

She's done the classroom version of this every day for years as an art teacher at Magen David Yeshivah, and the grown-up version runs on the same engine: clear steps, real materials, a finished piece.

It scales. Fifteen women in a dining room, forty at a school event, a kids' activity running at a shabbaton while the parents have their program. Tell her the room and the crowd; she plans the project to fit it.
